I'm a data scientist and analytics engineer who turns messy data into things people actually use: pipelines, warehouses, ML models, reporting systems. I like building tools that make someone's job easier or answer a question they've been stuck on.
Outside of work, I'm usually tinkering with side projects on my home server, fixing something around the house, road or mountain biking, feeding my kid, exploring slot canyons, or backcountry skiing somewhere along the Wasatch.
Current obsession: organizing the Great Glizzy Gauntlet—a 100-mile bike ride linking 10 Costcos along the Wasatch Front with a mandatory hot dog at every stop.
